The Village

Outline of the activity
Having created a database of information on the village, children interpreted their graphs and reported their findings.

Skills Covered
Through this local study, geographical and history skills were fostered.  Pupils made sketches and evaluated the numerical data they collected on the computer. Language work was developed in both English and Welsh.

Rationale
This topic was clearly enhanced by the use of IT as it allowed the children to manipulate and present information in different ways.
