Photograph Calendar

Outline of the activity
Pupils use a publishing program to design and make a calendar for a gift. They use the digital camera to take photographs to insert onto their calendar.

Skills Covered
Using a digital camera, scanning , cropping and inserting photographs into a program. Using the template wizard.

Rationale
Use of IT equipment to create the annual school calendar creates an added interest for the children and at the same time, improves their IT skills.

Result
The children took home their calendars for a Christmas gift bearing a lovely reminder of themselves and their friends in the last year of the Junior School.
